Why have my solar panels cleaned?
Because they get dirty! And, when they get dirty, they don’t perform at their best, possibly costing you valuable ca$h in grid electrical usage.
How often should I have my solar panels cleaned?
In most locations, once or twice a year is sufficient. But if you live near a dirt field or maybe a freeway, more periodic (quarterly or even monthly) cleanings may be necessary.
Why should I hire Solar Maid OC?
Because we have been doing this for over 10 years and guarantee our work! If you are not satisfied, we will clean them again at no additional cost!
Also, we are fully insured so in the unlikely event something were to seriously go wrong, we are covered!
How do you clean the solar panels?
We use water fed poles with brushes and sprayers on the ends. We are effectively wetting, scrubbing and rinsing at the same time.
The poles can reach out to 40′ so we don’t have to get on your solar panels and can clean the closest ones just as good as the furthest ones.
We DO NOT use any chemicals unless requested due to excessive soiling. But if you don’t ask, we don’t use. We want to keep those pets on the ground safe and healthy if they decide to take a drink from the runoff. We have found that the panels still come squeaky clean with just water and a nice soft brush scrubbing.
We DO use De-ionized water so that when we are done with our scrubbing, your panels dry with no water spots and this will help prevent the dirt buildup too.

Do you accept Credit Cards?
We do! If you prefer to pay by credit card, we will email you a PayPal invoice. We currently do not accept credit card payments at the job site.
